Loving Care Daycare Center
In the first few weeks of 2025, GCI became deeply involved with one of Central Nebraska’s leading daycare centers. The Loving Care Daycare Center in Holdrege, Nebraska, was asked on December 31, 2024, to vacate their lease by the end of June 2025.
Currently serving 55 local families and 85 of their children, this highly regarded center is vital to the community’s well-being. However, no suitable relocation options are available. Recognizing this urgent need, GCI—guided by its 25-year mission of “Connecting People Who Care With The World’s Greatest Needs”—has successfully registered with the Nebraska Secretary of State’s office to conduct business , and has enfolded the Loving Care Daycare Center under its 501(c)(3) nonprofit umbrella. This partnership is opening doors to critical funding opportunities, including grants, corporate sponsorships, and other financial resources, to accelerate the construction of a new, state-of-the-art childcare facility. Without this facility, this community will find itself in a serious crisis, leaving fifty-five families in this small community without daycare services.
Planned State-of-the-Art Daycare Facility
In just thirteen, short weeks GCI has developed a complete set of plans for a new, 6,120 sf, state-of-the-art daycare facility that meets the requirements of all state and local agencies; and has found ourselves taking the point in finding a solution for one of the “Greatest Needs” our new hometown happens to be facing today!
